sc400 - OEM volume control won't work with new head unit.

Okay, so I've been looking at threads for about an hour now and can't find any satisfactory answers. I installed a Kenwood head unit and everything works fine but it's bypassing the volume control and isn't loud enough. I know why it won't work but I don't know how to fix it aside from installing new amps and running new wires. I can't even find a wiring diagram that includes the volume control. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When you install an aftermarket headunit in the SC, your OEM volume knob won't work. Maybe someome has figured out how to pull it off but I never did. That is why some people will actually shave the knob and fill in the hole.
