Default Fuel Gauge Problem! PLEASE HELP!

Hey All!
I don't post much on this site, im still reading around,
everything is so overwhelming, but awesome.

Heres my problem, today when I was replacing my
Temperature Needle inside the cluster my hand bumped
the Fuel Gauge needle, now my fuel needle won't go
down, I filled up, and it did indeed go up, but with the
amount of driving I did, I know it should go back down,
even when I shut the car off, go inside for 2 hours,
it is still up, Does anyone have any ideas? anything like this
happen to them?

thanks guys

Pull the float assembly out of the gas tank (5 minutes tops) and have someone work the float through it's range while you reset the needle to the correct position.
