OK, question... How much is it worth in monetary value? Or how much is it worth if you tried to sell it in todays market?

If the latter, I think around $16k give or take. Some will like it is still retaining the twins, while other people would prefer it to be already singled. Some would worry about the stock clutch if they wanted to buy it to put a big single on it...

A couple of years ago you could have gotten around $20k for it... but currently I think you would be hard pressed to get much more than $16k. Remember, people can't take out a large loan for an SC like they can with a Supra.

Awesome car though.

also somewhat depends on were in cali you live.
i say give or take 15k

roadkill5o 06-12-10 11:46 AM

Thanks guys, anyone else have any input?

I think DX3 is pretty spot on with his pricing..

turbodremz 06-13-10 08:33 AM

$15-18 would be my guess. Your car is in mint condition, stock bodied with very tasteful performance upgrades. But like DX3 said, with the economy its hard to get what the cars "actual" value is.

Me personally (has nothing that our cars are twins) I would pay a bit higher cause you kept it simple, to the point, and its obvious that the car has been extremely well taken care of..dont you dare sell it! Your car has been a huge inspiration, and is still in my top 10 list of cars contributing to my SC's build/plans.

JDMmuscle 06-13-10 11:52 AM

sorry, i wouldnt give you more then 10K, what others are willing to give? no idea, friend of mine just sold a 85 corolla with 400K miles on it for 2100$, it all depends on who sees the car and has the money for it.

fact of the matter is, no matter how hard to try and make it a supra, its not.

SCrollinSD 06-13-10 01:26 PM

^^ it has nothing to do with wanting to be a supra. believe it or not, there are people out there (myself being one of them) who prefer the SC to the supra.

but, asking for 15 grand is pretty overpriced. for 15 grand, the car would need to be fully built all around and in mint condition with low miles. \

i'd say in all reality, JDMmuscle is about right. you will most likely end up taking an offer of around 9-12k

sc-driver 06-13-10 01:35 PM

What the car is worth and what the car will actually sell for are 2 completely separate numbers.

The car is worth about $18k with all the work you've done, but realistically it will sell for closer to $10k.

Lesson to be learned, If you're going to drop large amounts of money into your car, DONT sell it and just keep it.

5sp_jzz30 06-13-10 01:52 PM

10 grand give or take a bit depending on the idiocy of the buyer

attzor 06-13-10 01:55 PM

I'd say 12k, but that car is definatly worth 18-20k, if you don't need to sell it right away, list it for 17 and hope for 15.

eliteskill 06-13-10 02:06 PM

15k+/- ~ market value right now... but its worth 20k easy down the line. Upgraded twins with 6sp is already putting it at 15k. Over stock 2jzgte going for 10-12k right now.

442whp? on s4s jdm upgraded internals? what psi and race gas?

Trust me i prefer the SC over a supra anyday, i was saying that because of the motor and tranny combo, seemed to me like the OP was trying to copy the supra set up in a different body.

because rx7 owners wish they have camaros/corvettes when they do LS1 swaps, right guys?

Id say 15-18k because the mods are legit. Ive seen some people trying to sell theirs for more with just the basic GTE swap.
