JDM soarer that i bought today to import to aust
yup
bought it at auction.
today.
cost a lot of money
will disclose more details as i know more
but
facts are...
black on black.

Tein comfort coilovers
apexera turbo timers
work wheels
one of a kind body kit (dont know brand - never seen before)
58,000 miles (for you americans)
Lpackage
sunroof
electric seats
full service history
logbooks
all info regarding the car is with the car etc (rare for japanese imports into aust)
now normally i hate threads like this that just brag about the car
and i know what some of you do with the whole... "black/tan" two tone dash
and that looks good, i applaud what you guys do to dye your interior bits black etc and install other steering wheels on
but please try to understand this is a bit more ... how you say... "grown up" interior... being that there's no aftermarket parts or steering wheels or guage clusters etc...
stereo was kept by owner which is OK with me - wtf would i want a japanese stereo anyway haha

full leather / alacantra / matching floormats of the lexus sc430 burgundy retrim done by one of japans top retrimmers.

a few of you may remember a couple weeks back i posted about a soarer i was chasing that was a 94 black black L package (the series 1.5) that had fat exhausts on it and 18" work vs-XX
that car was very very nice but the owner wouldn't accept my offer, auction went thru on sunday night, and he had no other offers so i guess now he's stuck with it!

but now i have this one instead, which is newer, sc430 retrim, with sunroof and vvt 1J
win.

car is currently in Kobe, Japan, it goes to port (hopefully) tomorrow, then in a few weeks onto a RORO (roll on roll off) boat - these are like multi storey carparks that float in the sea
then from there it goes to victoria for compliance then over to me in perth =)
the reason it goes to victoria first is...
....well it's probably too complex for me to be bothered explaining to you guys who just buy them off craigslist haha..
but basically this particular age of soarer i must get compliance from the eastern part of australia because no shops in WA have the ability to comply them
compliance = prepare the car for australian design standards, ie: make the emissions correct, instal child safety harnesses and stuff like that
