Default Sc400 resale value/possible?

Is it even possible to resell a 93 sc400? I seem to have bad luck atm.

of course, but dont expect a lot for it if it's not running. You'll prolly get more for it if you part it

Something is only worth as much as what somebody's willing to pay for it. You might be asking for too much.

"jadu" has already alluded to parting out and it's always an option.

Car has 45k miles and running perfect. I dont see how parting out is better than selling as is =/

yea, SC's are selling for lower then what they should be. I suggest if you can't get the price you think it's worth then just stick with it. That's what I ended up doing. Or you can try to trade for a car.

It's the fact that there are some REALLY crappy SC's selling for almost nothing. These bring the prices down substantially for the rest.

If it really only has 45k miles on it you can sell it for a pretty penny

OP, how much are you selling it for??

cause with 45k, normally this type of car sells asap.

either..

1. you're asking for too much

2. your not advertising/reaching enough people.

I made a trade for a 2006 Benz for My SC400. That goes to show you that people are willing to spend a lot on these cars if they are just right. So it depends on the buyers and how you market it.

You have to sell it for dirt cheap to get rid of it. They are a dime a dozen unless your mileage is only in the 4 digits rage

Where are you listing it? Have you tried eBay? About a year ago I saw a 50k, 60k mi SC (95?) go for around $9k. Some people are willing to pay, you just have to make it easier for them to find what they want.

You can get decent money out of the car with that low of low mileage. If you want to make a bunch more cash, I would try to sell it to someone who is unfamiliar with the SC or at a car show. I've had people that have never seen an SC before and offer me close to $8k-10k for a close to stock SC. It would be kind of shady to sell it like that since you would be taking advantage of someone though. I would suggest keeping it though or even doing a direct trade for another car.
