Default New sc400 running VERY rich and loss of power?

Hey guys, a friend and I just went up and got a SC400 for him, we went to tennessee and got a black 94 with 174k miles on it, great deal too.

The only issue with the car is that it has an issue with shuddering at above 3k rpm and is running pig rich. PO said it came on suddenly with no warning, so he drove it home, parked it and put it up forsale. It's 3am and I have no time to get started on diagnosing it, but I'm posting this now so I know what to look for, till now I've only worked on my 1jz SC.

Overview:
Runs and drives but won't go fast, shakes a little, shudders after 3k rpm in drive, will free rev over that in park, runs VERY rich, cats get red hot after 20 minutes of running. No check engine lights. It just runs poorly, you can feel it even at idle.

Starting in this order (I have a perfectly running SC4 aswell, so I'll be part swapping.):
checking air filter
cleaning MAF
checking the plugs
checking the distributer
checking the TPS
checking the ECU
checking cats
maybe an O2 censor?

I'll get some pics of all 3 SC's chilling out in my driveway, lol.

Thanks guys!

Yeah after searching I found that it was likely a dead coil, I checked the drives side and the car doesnt start, I can't find the other one.. lol..

the primary coil is located right on top of the a/c compressor and secondary
is located next to the thormostat.

I found them, when I unplugged them the car wouldn't start, and died the first time I tried it (also zapped the **** out of my hand that time>..) So I checked all the plug wires, one had a deep cut so I got a new plug wire set, plugged it all up and now it's only running on 2 cylinders, numbers 2 and 4. It's also backfiring a lot now too.

But yeah, I'm in Cumming, if you would be willing to come up and help me out it would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure you know where cumming is being in lawrenceville 20-30 mins on 20 and you're there.

I have everything that I need to fix it, I just need to figure out what to swap over from my SC4 to this SC4.. people are starting to think I crazy having 3 of the same cars parked in my garages/driveway.

technician so i get parts at cost price so let me know just do a full tune up
replace spark plugs, distributor caps ,ignition rotor. and yeah try not start it that
much cause you dumping raw gas into your cats unless you want to buy new ones.

It was the drives side igniter coil, it runs great now. The trans was shifting weird though, and the CEL is now on. the pedal doesn't have like any feel to it and its either no throttel or heavy throttle, not full out or anything, but it's pretty jerky and you can't really cruise very well.

I did get to do some work on my SC400, cleaned out the interior for the most part, found 6$ in chance and 4$ in deutsch marks in the trunk, lol. And I took my 1jz sc300 out on 400 and lined up with a Ferrari 550, shame there was no room to run him, he was ready to go.
