Default Removing plastic/rubbery piece???

Howdy,
does anyone know how to easily remove the plastic/rubbery pieces for the turn signal and wiper thingys on the steering wheel? mine has some nasty build up of gunk and is fairly hard to clean, wanted to remove so i can do some better detailing.
thanks.

I wouldnt be suprised if it was glued to the plastic. Save yourself the trouble of taking apart the whole steering column and just clean it from where it is, thats what I did.

Btw, you need a keychain
