Angry help on checking atf and dizzy button

I have few question for long time owner of sc300 . Im checking my atf fluid when the engine cold meaning not crank up for couple hour it should read cold on the dip stick or below the hot in the cold area correct ,and when its warm up it should be in the hot area on the dipstick. Well mine at cold its beyond the hot area and when its warm its hard *** hell to read to meet up with the spec . The manual said absolutely nothing about checking fluid seems like lexus wanted us to take it to them. I dont even know if i would have to check while its in park or neutral or the procedure. Help please and I also need to know how to get the damn dizzy rotor buttom off Im starting to hate this car!!!!!!!

Hey man im a lexus tech. Starting your car cold, in park is fine. It should be at the cold mark a little above. If your unsure of the fluid level drain it and add 2 quarts. This will set you up just fine. Just did a trans service on a sc300 today. Good luck and PM me if you have any more questions. Aslo make sure you don't have to use dextron fluid.
