Default Windshield sun visor tint - Post pics

Been debating on having my tint guy do a windshield sun visor strip across the top of my windshield.

Curious to see how it looks on the SC. Dont want that ghetto G-ride look.

If any of you have a picture of your windshields with a visor, please post it, along with length and opacity.

Also, I've had a tinted windshield before, yes I know they're cool, but please dont post pics of just a tinted windshield.

I'd like to see some pics as well since I plan on having this done soon. I'm probably going to go with a 5% strip at the top and 30% the rest of the way down though.

Check my location, lol.

I was thinking 3% or 5%, whatever my tint guy has. Perhaps an inch or 2 below the factory solarized portion.

I currently have 5% all the way around. Hoping the strip ads function and cosmetics. I loved the 35% on my windshield in my 2G GSX, but word has it that in this state if you get into an accident and they notice you have a tinted windshield, you automatically take fault, or will at least be fined.

That's what I've heard. I'll take the chance since my family owns our car insurance company. Did the 35% on the windshield make a big difference in how much heat got into the car.

I too would like to see how it looks. I want to get an idea of how dark it will look with the whole windshield tinted.

It's the best thing that I have done to all of the cars that I have owned. It really helps when driving when the sun is at that angle where you don't want to use the sunvisor.

I have a 5% strip across my windshield and it sits 5 inches down when it is measured down the middle. The sides are a bit longer because of the contour of the windshield.

Absolutely nothing ghetto about it unless the visor is halfway down the windsheild

To be honest I have no clue. my MKIV and SC had the most obnoxious, loudest exhaust drone and I would drive by cops all the time without hesitation.

Although there are good number of cars around my area with tints so dark it makes mine look OEM.

You should move to Oklahoma! Cops rarely mess with people with tinted windows. My friend went 15 years without getting a ticket and he had limo tint with 18% reflective on the windshield. He got a ticket two weeks after he told me though. It helps to not get pulled over as well.

That looks really good! I'm definitely getting the strip now.

I didn't even notice until you mentioned it. That looked pretty bad. It makes me scared to use a jack on my SC.

to hell with tint, i have a black vinyl strip on my windsheild. Easy to just peel-off, incase the popo bytch about it.

and i dont understand why you need pictures. i think it's kind of obvious what a tint strip will look like.
