Default AC light blinking

Guys,

Trying to help someone with AC issues. Does AC light blinking mean the AC sensor relay is bad? I tried searching but AC doesn't work on the 3-character search requirements...

Thanks,
Jonny

Very interesting read as I didn't know any of this stuff - but unfortunately doesn't help answer my question. Thank you though.

when i got my 03 camry recently the AC was working fine then one day it quit and the AC light kept flashing.. on those cars a common issue is the AC clutch relay goes bad and you have to replace the relay..
think the relay was labeled "AC MG" or "AC MC" and it was a relay in the fuse box in the engine bay, either way don't know if our cars ever have a similar issue but i was able to replace it with a $15 dollar relay from autozone and it has worked great since..

Hey man - I have read about this a lot, but it seems that it is common to the ES/Camry and is a magnetic clutch relay. Not sure if the SC's use those or not... I will tell him to give it a shot though. Thanks for your help,

Jonny

Compressor isn't turning on. Check in the owners manual in the A/C section, it will describe what is happening to you. Chances are you'll need a new compressor.
