if thats the setup you run there is only a minimal difference in just using a completely stock 2jzge bottom end. get one from a good running motor, and don't even rebuild it, just clean it up, and you can run a slightly thicker gasket to account for the piston dish. once you open up the bottom end you are taking a lot of risks, as it sounds like you know that already from your 2 motors. its really not even worth doing a rebuild these days unless you are increasing displacement. your money is much better spent on the head.
