Its not too hard. There are a couple of clips or bolts or something (cant remember sorry) under the extensions right behind the rear wheels at the bottom. There are some 10mm bolts you need to take off from inside the trunk there are clips you need to take out under the tail lights and that should be about it...

Ugh! Removing the rear bumper was not fun, You essentially have to strip the entire trunk interior.

Default Preparing to replace rear Bumper Cover on 2008 LS460

Hey - I was excited to see that you had some videos of the process required to remove the Bumper cover. I know about the two Bolts at the Wheel well and the 4 Plastic Pins in the Bottom of the Cover but saw that I needed to remove the Inner liner of the Trunk and wondered if it was a hard process?
I have a Quote for $1.175 for the entire task, but can buy the Cover for over $75 cheaper for a new OEM (He may use non OEM and that is not good) and he said he would install and paint my new cover for around $575.

But I need to get comfortable with the Process. He said I would probably break the Plastic Pins off when I tried to remove them. Did you? Can you put the Videos or Pics back - thanks

I've done it like 5-6 times is not that bad after a while its just knowing where all the nuts and clips are. The hardest ones are underneath the black vent on each side other than that its clip and removing the bottom mouldings
