All SC 98+ came with gated-shifter.

The picture is from 98 because 99+ has 3-spoke wheel.

No, have patience, take your time and buy private. Look for service records. Car lovers have them! You want service history, not just the vin. Dealers don't have service records, just a safety inspection, and they move cars around that don't sell. That car's been up for sale for months now, and has not moved. Private sellers have more negotiating room vs a dealer who's also gonna charge you 10% tax and license and fees. Privates can save you cash on the pink slip and title too, by putting a lower price than what you actually paid for. Just make sure you on the seller are on the same page, and check the paperwork to make sure the prices match, or it'll come back and get you. I've always bought used cars, and the sellers never had a problem hooking me up

Found some of these today on craigs

What do you mean about that? so what if it get an exhaust, intake and headers.. that's the idea of what I had for mods.. nothing else?

So If i get a 97-00 sc4 it would be hard to pass smog? does anybody else have a 97-00 sc4 and had trouble with passing there smog while they live in cali??? please comment back..

If you are indeed going to stick with this story, then you have to include the 96 SC400 because it is the same as the 97. As for the 98 SC400, that is a completely different SC engine wise, so your story is already falling apart there.. Many 1uzfe owners like my self have moded our cars with no issues.

Those mods shouldn't run you any problems either with smog. As long as you don't try to delete the cats.

I wouldnt go with the ones from the dealership. You dont know anything about them. You will find a better deal with a personal owner. And i realize you want to trade your car in, well, you will prob get more selling your car to some kid then the dealer will give you for your car. They will always rape you on the trade in.

Dealer told me a month ago he would give me 7k for my 2007 honda civic 50k miles. YEA RIGHT. turned around and sold it for 11k on Craigslist in 5 hours.

You just need to take your time, dont rush into anything. And if it seems to good to be true, IT IS.
