my friend had a 02 cl and he always complained about it, transmission went bad, problems w/ electrical like the power seats, just heard countless news about it, i'd keep your sc but if you still have second thoughts, just research and find out which year have the least problems, the cl-s 6spd comes w/ 260hp i believe so not bad for fwd, good luck

You're better off with a RL but the cost is a lil higher

I bought an 01 cl type s the same time i bought my second sc300....the cl has comfier seats, better gas mileage, newer, faster (stock for stock), better lighting, but boring to drive. The sc300 on the other hand feels/handles better (rwd), looks better (sportier-imo), better dash/electronics interior, breeze to work on, but sucks on gas and slow, and looks dated compared to the CL.

That's not gonna happen UNLESS the car has super low mileage (we are way past the fabled 6yr/100k warranty), or you can prove that it has been dealer maintained and you have complained about the problem many times. Honda is denying that there is an issue, and the problem was much farther reaching that 01-02. It really applied to ALL 6th gen Accord and any other Honda made product that had the same tranny.

You got it.

CL-S's are much faster, FWD or not it'll smoke any stock SC3. I almost bought a 6 speed one years ago. I wouldnt touch an auto with a 4 foot midget though. Do what you like man, whatever floats your boat. But comparing the two is kinda like comparing apples and oranges.

I had the a 03 3.2TL and I loved the car.. it was fun felt faster then the sc (both stock) Just that 90k miles and going on my 4th auto transmission did it for me. I walked away from it. I was going to do a 6spd swap and call it a day but I ended up getting a truck. Then later on I picked up my SC. Both in stock form I like the Acura better then the SC (not saying it is better and so on...), but for a car to mod I pick the SC. Would I go back to Acura? Yes, I wouldn't get the auto that's for sure but I would pick one up for as a DD.
