I found a SC 300 for $4995 on CL its a 1997 with 135000 some miles I really want to find a 5 speed manual but I think its impossible if anyone could send me some advice to find one let me know. Here's the link for that Lexus and check the other link its a 5 speed but I think it's overpriced.

The 2nd link looks super clean. Perfect interior. Just because their asking 4995 doesnt mean you cant negotiate.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the 97 come with different rims from those? I was under the impression they came with the 5 spokes?

Second car FTW. Thats a great price for the year/miles / condition. Those are the 92-94' rims as well. Not sure why they are on that 97. If he can'
t negotiate then I'd probably take it man.

 

He's lieing to you, either way, offer the first guy 4k, if he says no go back to the other guy and offer ~4,500$, this is of course if you have cash in hand ready to drive it off the lot.

 

Good luck. I stopped by that dealer in Fairfax a few weeks ago and checked out the 97. It's pretty clean.

 

I too checked out that car in Fairfax. I was about to buy it but there were some things about it i didn't like. Like the front bumper not lining up, it looks like it was in an accident. And some other odds and ends that told me to wait for a cleaner one. For the 5K price, something just has to be up with it. But buy it and prove me wrong. =P
