My front tires rub against the wheel well over large dips on the road. Especially the highway. I smoothed everything out the best I can. My tires don't have cuts on them or anything.

The little metal cross section above the wheel bothers me. I want to cut it and weld an "L" shaped piece. Also cut the inner wheel wells and extend it so when I'm at full lock, it doesn't rub.

If I'm going too fast (like 70 or 80+) on the highway, my front subframe will scrape on big dips and bumps. My exhaust piping is tucked as high as it can go so the lowest part is my front subframe.

I always watch other cars in front of me to see how their cars react to the bumps or dips road. That way I can prepare myself to what's coming up.

I scrape the wheel well over bumps at turns, which i hope will be fixed with an alignment b/c i still haven't gotten it aligned since installing coilovers and lowering the car soo much last week...it only scrapes wheel well going straight with big enough bumps, or "jumps" of the wheel from the ground lol

i try to avoid speed bumps b/c i do scrape a little underneath but ehh

I couldn't fit over a speed bump if my life depended on it.

Just live with it, everytime I decide to drive my car I have to go over 2 speed bumps to exit my street. Hell, there's one exactly in front of my house! Lloyd (Horent135) was over my house helping with my HID fogs this past weekend and he couldn't believe it when i told him he has to walk all the way to the corner and wait for me otherwise if he sits in the passenger side we're in danger of losing the bottom half of my car! Dude I'll trade your 1 second of scraping to my 5 secs all day..

I get stuck on speedbumps. I have a stock exhaust and my midpipe is destroyed.

Lol. Love the thread. Like many of you, I can't even get out of my driveway without some ghetto-rigged ramps.

My passenger scrapes all the time but my driver side doesnt..

When i drive out of my house i always scratch my midpipe at first it hurted but now i use to it..

I got stuck at a in n out entrance one of my rear wheel was stuck in the air due to the front passenger tire hitting the fender. How embarrassing.

I was just under the well last night beating the $#!t out of that part that cuts the rubber. I bet it cuts right where three sheets of metal converge, right? I used pliers to leverage that part as much as possible, then beat it some more. That problem went away unless I hit those bumps where pavement changes height (bridges and stuff).
I dropped my coils down 6 turns from full soft (sorry, don't know coil lingo), but will probably go down a lot more. I refuse to raise!!

I was asking my brother that same question this morning. Love the Dremel, just want to make sure that I shave so no weird angles hit the rubber on large bumps. I want to do the upper part of the well, and shave more of the fender instead of rolling. Don't want to wrinkle the fender. I'm still learning though. Probably a weekend project. Good luck!!
