Pcv the same on na and TT 2jz?

Is the N/a and TT PCV valve the same or not??

I read on alot of forums about people using TT pcv valves on their projects because they never seem to break or leak boost even at 20+ psi.
I've never actually seen one, so Im asking if it is the same plastic purple one that comes on the n/a 2jz-ge or is it a better unit.
I am probably going to go buy it tomorrow from toyota cause its only a $4 part. I would hate to be leaking boost into the crank case over a cost savings factory pcv valve. that would be bad for multiple reasons.

bump, no one knows if they are the same? I guess ill have to find out

The PCV valves are different for those na-t guys out there running the stock PCV valve.

the TT PCV valve part number is: 12204-46020
the PCV grommet part number is: 90480-18001 (same grommet for TT and n/a)

Just ordered both for a total of $14 from the dealer. not too bad really.
When I get mine in and replace it I will test the stock 2jz-ge PCV valve.
I suspect that it leaks some boost, because its plastic and different part # than the TT.

replaced the stock PCV valve with the TT one.

After testing the stock n/a one it seems to close completely under pressure, exactly like the TT one. The TT one is all metal though and doesn't have a 90 degree bend on it, but nothing to worry about really, either one will get the job done. .
