Default Power folding mirrors on the Lexus SC 300

At the Lexus SC 300 exterior mirrors have 4 options: 1 - electric adjustment of status, 2 - position memory settings, 3 - automatic darkening glass, 4 - heating the glass mirror. There's no option electromechanical рower folding mirrors, as on other machines. Toyota Soarer - elder brother Lexus SC 300 has the option of electromechanical folding exterior mirrors. I used the mirror from Toyota Soarer, reconstructed them and installed on my SC 300. And now look Photo: http://photofile.ru/users/bvr/115717260/

Are the power folding mirrors much heavier than the non-folding mirrors?
Nice work.

The JDM MKIVs had this option as well, and I know some of the newer US market lexuses have this. There is a switch that can be installed to fold the mirrors on command, or it can be setup to automatically fold in when you turn your car off, and then when you turn it back on it will fold back out. It's a neat feature

Most cars overseas have this from the factory. It's so when they park, they have more space. The parking lots are much smaller compared to America.

718murdoc + ScottURnot + Klaus + SH_JZZ30 - thanks for the kind words!
Once I left the supermarket and saw that the driver's side mirror on my SC twist in the opposite direction. Well, it was not damaged. After that incident I decided it would be better if I install the mechanism of folding mirrors on my SC.
Yes, the mirror on the Soarer is much harder, but it arises from pressing the button. I weigh them both and add a message on their weight in the job description. Use Translator: http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en - and you'll learn all the details of this project.
Brackets Mirror Soarer and SC have a groove into which is inserted and fastened electromechanical devays folding mirrors. These recesses in the bracket SC and Soarer performed at different angles, as drivers in SC and Soarer sit in the car from different angles and at different angles see, for example, the fact that they are on the left. Therefore, we have to use brackets from SC, and electromechanical devays folding mirrors from Soarer.
Optional folding mirrors - this is a very good option!
Thank you.

Here's how the oem button looks on my car. This is the JDM driver side door (USDM driver side).

Guys - Hi.
I used to control the folding mirrors, electronic control unit of mirrors «Mirror Control» for Toyota vehicles: Sorona, Сarina, Сarina E; Сelica; MR2; Avensis 92-97 years. Photo enclose. Without it, folding, folding mirrors - will not !!! It is this switch after each clicking on the button changes the polarity of +/- for the next pressing the button and the mirror every subsequent time locked or opened on the next button is pressed.

BSC300TT - Hi.
I wrote in detail about the sequence of works on reconstruction of mirrors, photographed the text and in a way to put it in my photo album. Use the translator toolkit: http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en
All mysteries will be opened to you.
