its been done. definitely has to be modified to fit though.

and imo, it still doesn't look right on newer style front bumpers so not really worth it.

thanks for sharing your diy and where you bought the parts.

In your opinion do you think the sides will be noticibly off?

im quite handy with body work so im wondering if i bought these same sides would i be abl,e to put them on with a professional look ?

or will they come out looking off no matter what i do?

I'm considering getting this lip some time, but is this really the proper way to do it? I just don't feel that the manufacture would intend for you to drill holes into the lip to mount it and not provide fasteners. Correct me if I'm wrong

you are wrong...unless your gonna glue, mold or some how double tape it to the bumper (do not do this)...

works like a champ...for over a year now and i havent changed the tape or the zipties..

Ah, I see. I thought about how this would be "properly" mounted on, but I realized this is after market, Lexus didn't intend for this lip to fit. Sorry for my lack of knowledge, still trying to get familiar.

Hey I was wondering if you put a fastener right where the lip hooks into the wheel well, or is it just held up with those 5 in he middle and the double sided tape around the edges?

I ended up making a L shaped bracket on each side its more durable.

Contemplating doing this... Seems slightly difficult but worth a try.
