Default bomex

look into the bomex wing. it's uder $400 and it is really nice..it stays flush on the trunk with a very aggressive lip aroud it...not too racey or out of place looks like it should have came with this wing..
bolts on with no modification..useing factory holes on the trunk. very nice

I have to admit the bomex looks nice. But in the second picture you can see that it flares up around the outside edges. My question… WHY!!!! No offence to the people with the Do-Luck but that’s the reason I don’t like that spoiler either. It makes it look like some duck bill. Well, not exactly but it would look so much nicer IMO if it was simply a straight flow.

Default Do Luck

I have to Agree..the Do Luck is too over the top of a kit.
The wing is too long and disproportionate and same w/the skirts and front/rear
bumpers.

The Lowenhardt LD1 rims are played out now too.

Default Kaminari

I still think the Kaminari look nice....At least I think a well attached one would look best. It is the only one that really looks like it belongs. It doesen't look like a cheesy aftermarket addition. If it can be flush to my trunk, I just might get it!

I can't quite remember, but I believe it was takakaira.com who I contacted. They quoted me $320 for the Type I plus $360 for shipping from Japan. That's would be about $680 for the wing itself without painting or installation. The thing about them is, if you ordered some other parts, they will package it together and try to save you shipping costs.

Also they said it would take at least 8 weeks for delivery, because AB Flug has to make the wing AFTER it is ordered and paid for. That probably means AB Flug doesn't keep any in stock.

Speaking of wings though ... since I like the AB Flug Type I and Type II wings, has anyone thought about an alternative. I thought of putting on a stock 2000-current Celica GT-S wing on mine. It would probably be cheaper than ordering an aftermarket wing from Japan.

I saw a '99 SC400 the other day, and the more I look at it, the more I like it's spoiler. I know this question has probably been answered before, but does the 97+ spoiler fit the same holes as the pre-97s?

Gotta hate it when the shipping for the wing costs more than the wing itself, kinda like paying more to insure the car than you paid for the car...

That's a big A$$ exhaust. We need one like the porsche's and beetles have, where it goes up and down. The beetles have one on the roof though where it meets the back window, that goes up at 80, or can be manually adjusted to be up.

Damn, that red lex looks sweet as hell. I love it. That's an AB Flug kit on there right?
