TH350 huh...I can get those all day long for less than $500 with TC...what kind of power do they hold though? Looking forward to this, keep the updates coming.

+1 with windex about the TH350.

Nonetheless, nice plans you got there and GL!

On a side note, that last photoshopped pic looks sexy

Right now it's just a stock rebuild, but according to Boost Logic they ran 800hp on a built one all day long. Supposedly they are just as strong as the th400 when built. Guess I'll be finding that out I'm not exactly sure if I will be taking my car to the track this year, I doubt i'll make enough money to finish building the head. so i just want to get my car running again and get some stuff out of the way for next year. Thanks for the feedback!

if you build a TH350 it can handle it but stock not a chance. I know a guy whos running a TH350 on a TT 327 that is putting down 700, but the guy put a few thousand $$ into his transmission. I plan on using a TH400 with the build I am slowly going to make happen. I think I can deal with the 25-35hp loss from with with a GT42 or a GT45

sorry cam, I haven't had anytime to really travel lately. You want to trade it with the wingless one you repainted? Yeah, planning on getting the th350 built before dyno tuning, there is a shop where my friend got his built for 1g that warranty's 1000hp for 3 years.<--Must be to input shaft or crank. Thanks for the feedback, All is welcome!

UPDATE* Gonna be redoing all my brake lines again and plumbing in line lock

UpDaTeS...
th350 swap and hurst pistol grip shifter install thread.
Pulled the engine and trans today. Started to re-rewire the engine bay, deleting bumper lights, abs wires, defroster wires. Planning on sanding down, filling all empty engine bay holes then repainting.

Before Pull

Pulled

A few things that we deleted, aentenna, air bag sensors, old shifter, auto shifter wires.

Auto shifter wires stripped, ready for fitting th350 shifter.

For anyone interested in where my power steering was relocated to, It' on a L bracket and then clamped on.

PS cooler, fits right behind vent on 97+ bumpers.

Valve Covers showing some skin L];D

Down to a small minimum of wires, gonna completely remove wires from running across the front and fuse box into car.
