Can anyone send me the link to that website that has the custom fitted holder/mount things for your Ipod, Zune, cell phone and what not. I saw it on here a while ago but lost the thread where whoever posted it.

 

Nobody huh? I thought it was a pretty common site that I had just forgotten the address to. I'm talking custom mount as in you can chose it to fit on the SC dash perfectly if that helps.

I'd start with a TOMTOM dock and build something custom off it. I know it's a bit expensive, but it is built very well and has GPS for you if needed.

XM sky dock is very nice also but has a fixed cig lighter dock. You could build something off it.

I got a ebay iphone windshield mount. My setup is apline ipod adapter, Scosche passport adapter(to allow my iphone to be charged while it plays music). The one i got came with a iphone car charger. Windshield mount cost me $8 shipped with car charger. Bought one for a buddy of mine and its $5-6 shipped with out the car charger.

 

Profit is a company that makes vehicle specific mounts. there are a few more that i can't name at the moment.

 

I checked out Pro Fit and it was pretty good, it was a start, but if you can figure out the other ones you know later please update.

I hate windshield attachments along with cig lighter pod thingy. I will take a pic of what I've done. It's a $10 solution that works well for me.

 

PAC stuff is better quality than bracketron or you could make your own mount out of abs plastic. also you could use an old xm or sirius mount like shern said.
