I noticed this morning that the brake(red) light on the dash will turn on and off, just randomly, as if i have the emergency break on.

How to fix this?

Other guys might know more but maybe brake fluid?

Check fluid levels. Then check you calipers.

I've had my brake light flash as well, and was just about to post about it. Mine comes on during a hard left turn and when I first saw the light I thought it was a low oil pressure warning. Then I saw it was the same light that comes on when the hand brake is applied. It goes off again a couple of seconds after the turn is complete.

My callipers, pads and fluid levels all look normal.

its the brake fluid , its probably that your pads are getting worn out and the fluid is seeping through them that is if they dont feel spongy. do your brakes feel spongy? i hate when that happens because your cruise control wont work whenever that light is on. dot 3 brake fluid is cheap so pour some in there man. order of elimination.

i would check the break fluid i had the same problem with my car and took it to the mechanic he poored on some break fluid and the problem whent away. good luck

brake fluid for sure. had this problem when i first got my car and a dash of brake fluid fixes it.
