dont feel bad Hil, you actually gave me an idea..cause the cup holder between my shifter and center console isnt going to be accessible for much longer due to some fuel/engine components..you have inspired me

But not on a civic. there would be no point in downforce on the rear tires in a civic, you would get less traction instead of better traction.... know what I mean?

Regardless I think this got a bit off track, I am just trying to figure out if I can mod the table to fit the sc300. Hil did give me a good alternative if I cant get it to work, but I still want to know if anyone has done this or if it can be done.

Ummmm what? Most fwd track cars use wings for stability and to keep lift throttle oversteer under control. In what way would a wing possibly give you less traction?

if you want a nice table get an Evo or an STI. they come stock with a nice setup.

sounds like a pretty stupid idea to me. our cars are not made to be vip. making it look vip is different then being vip.

AJ the wing in the back of a FWD car takes the normal force off the front wheels. this can be countered by using softer springs in the rear. in most cases a FWD with a wild=stupid. when properly done it actually works. ....so you are right.

Why is everyone trying to VIP our SC's. I don't like ripping anyone's ideas, but like someone said earlier, not as many options are out there because manufacturers don't consider our cars to be VIP! Get a bossy a** four door if you're gonna vip your ish. (LS, GS, Q45) you will have a lot more options and your car might actually really turn out VIP... just my two cents.

Why do I drift my SC? Because its my car and I do what I want with it.

What does it matter to you what people do with their cars?

Take this, Get some nice wood veneer for the base and make a little stand that rises up out of the glove compartment door to hold the cups. That way it will be able to be put away in the box and brought out when wanted.

Edit: Crap..... My layers must have screwed up. Oh Well, you get the point.

if im not mistaken they're made of plastic... at least the carmate one's are. the vents should hold them no problem.
