Default My first sc300....mmm lovely!

Well, I just bought my first sc300. I honestly was never really looking into an sc. I really wanted an LS400. But for some reason, something just told me to get an sc300 instead. The availability to go VIP and still canyon drive, or drift if I wanted to was way too alluring for me to pass up.

I bought this car three days ago. After picking it up, I bought some rims from a friend of mine who has a business account with a local shop who had them in stock. Also ordered my coil overs which will be in and installed this friday.

I picked up the car for $3000. The interior is ridiculously clean, excluding the driver seat which I already sourced a replacement, which I love. two small dents (one on the driver front fender which will be replaced with vertex fenders and one on the rear quarter panel just above the wheel well) 169k miles, overall a really good car I think. This is what it looked like when I first bought it

and after my rims

interior

I also bought the soarer emblems. they were brand new, with all plastic still attached

Also bought a soarer steering wheel, and just waiting on it to be shipped. stupid ebay wont let me copy the picture, but here is the link to the closed ad that I bought. When it arrives I will take a pic of it and post it

I have always loved toyotas, I had an sr20det powered ae86 which I just sold. So I hope to do something extraordinary with this one.

Congratulations man on your first SC. More mods for the 300 vs the 400.. Keep us updated on the upcoming changes and plans. Good luck and welcome.

Hil - Thanks!

1992lexus - thanks! yea, I did some research and noticed that as well, which is why I opted for a 300 instead of a 400 hehe. Will definitely keep this updated

CSSC400STL - Well, I put a deposit on the vertex lip kit. The guy who bought my corolla still owes me 2k and is going to give it to me next week once his income tax check comes in. After that I am going to clean up the interior some more, get a new gauge cluster because the needles on the tach and fuel is out, and replace the torn driver seat. Already ripped the tint off the front windows and going to do it to the bubbling rear too and get the tint redone. After that I am just going to go JDM VIP with it. Will prob keep it auto for awhile ( I have all the manual conversion stuff though) and just cruise. JIC twin spartan exhaust, maybe minor engine mods, OEM toyota visors, origin CF roof spoiler, behrman rear spoiler to name a few =)

Very nice, sounds like you got big plans for the car! Are you going to be doing the work yourself or do you have a shop to go to?
