wrapping the entire car seems like a lot

I was considering a vinyl wrap on my car, and from the few cars I have seen, if its done correctly, it turns out really nice..but yes that would be alot of vinyl

Good luck making it even.

The only way to make it even is to have each panel as one sheet.
Now go look at the A pillar, the roof, and the quarter panels.

Good luck. I've actually thought about this too, but you'd need a REALLY wide roll.

It's not as easy as it seems, I wrapped the roof and front bumper of my other car. Was a pita. I used Avery A9 EZ, you can also use 3M Controltac Plus (both are designed for car wraps). 3M is a bit more costly. Something that you will rarely see is how temperature affects the wrap. If you heat it to soften corners it will conform but once in cooler temps the material wants to revert back to the original shape.

The rules on linking have slipped my mind and i dont want to mess up hahah so ill just pm them to you but I know a guy on my local forum who wrapped his car and it looks amazing. totally worth it imo
and there is also a matte black sc that i saw a while back and i try and link you to that one too
the best way to figure out the amount you would need would be to call some sign shops or vinyl suppliers in your area

A friend of mine does them for $800 but thats here in Texas.

buddy of mine has a shop here in norcal...they do vinyl wraps and clears bra's. umm last time i checked he told me 2k or 3k and that was a hook up price and i thought that was to much for a sc...then he explained that people with new out the dealer cars like to do it because they don't have to mess with the new fresh factory paint and it also acts as a protection so my be when i get my bmw or somthing out the dealer ill consider vinyl wrap. hit them up the name of the shop is HD AUTO SALON

Yeah $800 has to be install and even that is a bit low. My brothers and I own a sign company and for the SC300 about 2200 would get you done. I wrap the cars with the 3M ControlTac CV3. Looks like glass if installed properly. The top pilar part is where the a seam would go but if go say, red on the car and a black top they the seam would not look so bad. Ive wrapped plenty of cars, this should take no more then 7-8 hours with bumpers being fully wrapped.

You probably need anywhere from 80-100 Ft of vinyl. FYI full rolls are 150F
