My advice is usually 18 with stock bumpers and 19 if you have a kit.

Thanks for the advice. Would you consider the 97+ bumpers and side skirts as a kit, or stock?

I consider 97+ stock. The 97+ bumper doesn't hang that low, so when you go 19's it lifts the front of the car up even higher. If you've seen pictures of my car when I was still on air with the 18" HRE. You can see the front has a lot of space between the bumper and ground even though the car is the lowest it can be. On 19's that gap would be even larger.

Saying goodbye to my SC300. Sold it to another forum member. I'm glad to know it'll be in good hands.

Your car is in good hands. I'll make sure he spares no expense restoring it since he blamed me for wanting to buy another one. lol

Haven't posted in a while. Still have my SC, though I bought an ISF a few weeks ago. Not sure what I want to do with the ol' girl, as she is rarely driven.

Not RIGHT now as it's now in the garage for the winter, but not that long ago.

95, with a convoluted history of being bought for a low price from an older guy who didn't have room for it and didn't want to deal with shipping to CA, who bought it from someone who upgraded it right with Supra big brakes under those huge Ruff Racing wheels, and who did an expensive repaint from jade to Black Onyx. If cars could talk...

It needed nothing but an alternator and new seats to be sorted, clean engine, new hoses when I got it. Love driving it.

Shayy - I'm not sure if it's the color or the digital cluster on your soarer, but that thing gets me every time!

Just picked up this beauty yesterday. 1997 SC400, 59K miles and excellent condition. More to follow.
