Default What is this?

Bought my car with a swap already done, However I noticed this.
A bolt in the hose and a open valve behind the charcol canister.
can anybody verify what this is need for?

what is the hose that the "T" is in running to?

On my 3S, that yellow thingy looks similar to a vent from the charcoal canister that usually plugged into the wheel well and vent off the other side.

My guess is its a super ghetto EGR delete. I mean look at the filter coming right off the inlet for the twins

well the thing is the other 2 hoses run to the back of the engine, and cant see from their.
The bad thing is now I believe my PS pump is going out. I hear a whining noise when slight turns. =/ . Does any body have one for sale that will fit on a 1jz?
