Okay, so I have a 95 SC300 5-speed... How much horsepower to the wheels can the drivetrain handle and how much can a Supra TT hold? And should I just go ahead and get the Supra stuff now? How much?

Safely the SC3 drivetrain can do 450 at the wheels on a daily basis. Anything near 500, and you *could* start breaking trannies. Near 600hp, and your 3rd gear will explode if you so much as think of shifting hard and stomping it. I'm on my #3 tranny. Very understandable, because every one of them broke shifting hard into 3rd gear, with 18psi, and nitrous on, at the track.

The supra 6-speed can take 1k HP, same for the rear. Not sure about the axles. I hear they can take 1k HP also.

These are the numbers I go by, I've gotten them from personal experience, and from the many turbo sc300/supra people I've talked to, and all the threads I've seen. There's been a ton of threads on this subject before.

I think we need a knowledgebase of some sort, with tree-navigation to look for details on stuff like that. That'd be cool.

Cool info. Because Lance was saying about the same with the numbers but I wanted to make sure and see what everyone else thought.

The kit I'm looking at going with from Lance has a turbo called the "bigT4"??? Not real sure what that is... perhaps that TEO4x2 you were talking Wiz..? Anyway, something to where I don't have to upgrade it again. Should I just leave the stock drivetrain in there until I break something?

Wiz, just to change the subject a bit, i'm assuming you ran that 12.8 on lower boost and no juice, so what did you run @ 18psi on the bottle? Did ya click an 11? Was this all on Kumho 712's? Funny how third gear will pop just like a Borg Warner T5. I'm amazed at how strong that Getrag unit is, just look at Ara Arslanian.

There's no way that you want a turbo as big as that T04^2... that would not even be streetable.

You should check into a T04B 60-1... Spools fast and can make 550 rwhp. That's more than any of the stock SC suspension, tranny and brake parts should be able to deal with. You'll need some good upgrades to handle that kind of power.

Check this page out for some good turbo information: http://www.vache.org/supra/turbos.htm
