Default Master Cylinder...which one?

I have a 1999 SC300. My master cylinder has failed and I am trying to locate a replacement without buying the OEM $500 one. I have found two listed in a website, but they do not have any in stock for at least 2 weeks.

Another site has a brand, Dorman, in stock. I don't have traction control, so my cylinder is a two bolt mount. Dorman is showing the cylinder without traction control having a three bolt mount and the cylinder with traction control having a two bolt mount that looks just like mine.

I don't have the dash light or the switch for traction control. I do have the "snow" button, but I believe that is not the same as traction control.

Can someone...anyone...give me some advice. I am trying to save myself a few hundred bucks. Thanks!

By the way, I found out through searching the internet that the most popular websites for aftermarket Lexus parts all feed into one company. I checked around 20 sites before asking one on the phone why I kept getting the same people on the phone. Well, I was told there are around 150 websites for automotive parts that feed into one business

2 bolt vs. 3 bolt is a matter of years.

older sc(92-94) have a 3 bolt master cylinder. 95+ sc have a 2 bolt master cylinder.

also mk4 supra all have 2 bolt master cylinder.

just go to napa or equivalent and buy a remanufactured unit or of you are handy buy a rebuild kit and do it yourself.

Thanks for the response. Do you know about the difference on a master cylinder with traction control and one without? I am wondering if on with traction control will work on a vehicle without traction control.

yes it does. my car is a 5spd so it never came with traction control from the factory. i currently have a master cylinder from an auto trac car and it works just the same. has had it for 2+ years now.
