The magazine ain't out yet.
This is from
http://79indypace.stangnet.com/carshow_cobra01.htm
When I first heard this Cobra go past on the front straight I knew there was something different about it... besides the fact that it was blazingly fast. I heard the distinct sound of a turbo bypass valve popping between shifts, and that hi-pitched whistle of exhaust driven turbines. Once back in the paddock after its first session I went over to take a look, and found a very exotic engine combination! Under the hood was a twin-turbocharged DOHC Lexus V8. This small displacement, all aluminum engine was still in the process of being tuned, but was running times in the same range as a stroked big-block powered Cobra that was also in attendance. What a machine!! Everything was either plated or polished, and the attention to detail was astounding. Apparently the boost was turned down that day as they were still sorting out fuel delivery issues at higher rpms. Once those problems are sorted out they plan on upping the boost to undisclosed levels... do not mess with this car, it will eat almost anything on the street for breakfast!!
same car as that feautured on my Twin Turbo 1UZ-FE page

Lot's of little custom details to look at isn't there? - like the little air filter on the idle control valve on the front of the manifold and moving the coils.
If anyone has any specific questions to ask him I will forward them on - he is busy with lots of things but we can always try.
