Lightbulb Spoiler Ideas

Hey guys! I have a dark green 93 SC300 and she's pratically begging for a spoiler. I want something that will look sporty and noticeable, but at the same time I want keep it looking classy and stylish. Anybody have any suggestions on what I could do? or any pics of what you've done w/ yours??? Thanks in advance for your input.

Maybe a modest GTR wing would look understated and compliment the lines. J/K

I prefer the smooth, spoiler less look but there are some decent kits - I like the do-luck, I think it is okay.

Check the galleries and search some other threads - there's tons of pics.

IMO, i think u should get the 94-95/96 style spoiler. It is flush with the body all the way around, and has the 3rd rear LED light in the center. This is my favorite spoiler for the SC, but i have the 92-93 style. This is the exact same one but w/o the LED light. If u don't want to unplug the 3rd. light in the window, or if u like that light, just get a 92-93 style spoiler.

I know u can get one from WingsWest, but i don't know how good it is (material, exactly like stock one in looks, etc.)

I kinda like the bomex wing. Its not high or wild. Its got a subtle touch of sportiness. Watch out if you get this kit. If you open the trunk while the antena is up it will break the antena mast! 125 @ the dealer

ok I'm sorry if I'm not being clear

Bomex wing = $300
you open the trunk with the bomex wing on and antena up you break the antena and will cost you $125 to replace the antena.

Sorry for the confusion.

one more thing. Wing is unpainted. so you're going to have to have it painted too.

So - now it's like 425$ for just the wing and antenna. That antenna looks just like stock. And that is unpainted? I don't want the antenna painted anyways. Sheesh.

dude. I hate to argue over these things but please read to the end of a post.

"Bomex wing = $300 and is shipped to you unpainted.

you open the trunk with the bomex wing on and antena up you break the antena and will cost you $125 to replace the antena. " is what I said!

I don't see where I said the antena was aftermarket or that it had to be painted..

I have a brand new spoiler that I'd like to sell. It's a 94/96 factory style spoiler with the LED. It's made by WingsWest so you can expect quality. Brand new, never painted. Email me if anyone is interested. $150
