Hmmm, strange. Things look fine. It could be one of many things.

Either you have bad ballasts, or they are not getting the initial start up current needed to fire the bulbs. Those wires on the last picture look really thin. What's the "max I" specification on your ballast?

Did the original fog lights work fine?

thanks dude

First off let me tell you thanks for helpin me out with this. I really appreciate it.
Well i was thinkin the same thing as far as ballast and the wiring so i took out the skinny wiring and just wrapped up a good amount of some 16 guage speaker wire for good contact, to do a test. i took it outside and it worked pretty good for several on and off try's. then it stopped once and i saw it arc where i twisted the wires up. then it worked a couple more times and did it again. so i think it might have been the wires being small. and maybe a lil bit of connection issue also. so i think imma have to solder the ballast straight to the bulb tails and drill through the cap and seal it with silicone. and if that doesnt work i dont know except for it being the ballast.

yeah they did work also i just got tire of replacing the expensive yellow bulbs i was buyin so bought a kit that id figured would last longer then the bulbs i was buyin

Thanks again dude

Finally

well i took out the smaller wires and avoid the factory connectors altogether. i drilled holes through the connector cap and fed the hid bulb wires through and just solder them directly to the ballast and then connected them to the factory wires with the connectors from before. now every once and a while i get the driver side that wont come on but one flick gets it. my lows used to do that and then it went away so im thinkin these will to with time. i hope:uh:
right now i can live with it. i also might try a bigger fuse in my relay kit because it came with a 20amp and i think a 30 would be better without being to much.

here is jacked up camera pic.

Spider,

I think your fog is grossly miss aligned or the thing is a flood light. The head lights seem OK as they are not bright and you are out of the beam pattern. The fogs should be much lower, the beam that is, than the low beam so the left light should appear as bright as the right from the raised camera angle. What do you think?

i plugged my fogs into my high beams, so i flick my fogs with the high beam lol

Lol

Yeah it has flood lamp internals....LMAO. But yeah its just a glare dude there aligned pretty good. i dont even know is its possible for them to be adjusted that far off. its just a camera pic. and i have better pics in someones foglight mod thread.
