Ok. I filled and sanded the lip a bit more. I realized melting plastic together wasnt good because of the smoke/fumes it puts in the air. It not really safe, so if you find another way like sandable silcone, bondo or something. That would be better.

Well I sanded the whole lip with 400 grit after, then used a product called forever black. Its made to paint/dye black trim. The product is great, I used it on my daily driver before. Now the lip is a uniform black.

here are photos.

I gotta admit its better then paying for the oem. The only thing you have to consider is it sits higher then the oem. if only the material was taller then it would be perfect. since it is shorter the side have to be mounted at a slight angle. not noticable, the only thing is when you look at the car in a slight angle you can see the screws underneath at that part slightly.

Oh, I scraped the bottom of this lip a few times. still stayed attached strong.

Great job on the lip!!! I've been looking for something like this and now that you have found it I will be using it for my 97+ bumper real soon. It's the exact size I need and everything. Can't wait!!!

nope, those are lm reps. In a nice offset . Im planning on getting some new wheels soon, some legit ones rather than reps. These reps were just to test the waters and get my feet wet.

the product is known as paver edging or restraint its used to keep stone walkways and driveways from losing there shape. I was doing some research and it comes in heights from 1.75-3" the 3" high stuff seems to be hard to find i found a few companys that make the stuff diamondlok and edgepro by dimex.

just thought id give u guys a bit more info on products out there just incase ur looking to do this urself, if ur looking to google it u should type in paver edging, paved edging, pavers restraint things of that nature
