i got the gauges free, and theyre electric so i said wtf. i did sand it smooth, then stretched vinyl over it.

btw, ive got some electric autometer ultralites on the way. memory boost, oil pressure and temp.

The idea is there, I would have tried to make it smooth as possible and paint it black, or even some of that duplicolor "textured metallic" black paint.

Get a shot from another angle. From straight on it looks really wavy, but it may look better from another angle. I have my gauges there and I love the location!

the actual gauges are angle toward the headrest. it looks wavy because the gauges are raised outward alittle bit to get the angle right

also, i am gonna mount a manual boost controller right beside the boost gauge when it gets here.

Sorry to say but it looks nasty, did you sand it? It doesnt look as smooth as it can be..

I agree, you have vinyl in a plastic center console, the vinyl is out of place.

alot of mixed opinions i see. thats cool. the reason i didnt paint it is because i didnt want it to end up gettin all scratched up. i agree about filling the ashtray cover gap. this was somethin i made in 45 minutes though. so itll serve the purpose for now i guess.

not to bad, spend some more time and fit it up a little bit more get it smooth and color match the interior............
