Unhappy Another SC Possibly Down :\

Just got into an accident this morning in my 93 sc300. Got hit on the passenger side while making a left. Seems like it may be a total loss as the driver's fender moved out about 0.25". This may signal some frame damage. As a result, the driver's door can not be opened. Will update with more details later today.

Dude, that sucks. As previously stated, at least you are ok. Possessions are replaceable. And yep, its definatley totaled. The frame looks tweaked by at least 3 inches.

Ouch..sorry to hear/see. The only real way to keep getting these accident prone cars from getting hit is to make them garage queens. They are disaster magnets..

Did the other car T-Bone the front wheel or was it a glancing blow?

Looks like your right fender just push on the hood and that pushed out your left fender. If the aluminum sub frame that your suspension bolts up to is not bent you'll just need two front fenders, a front bumper, (The fog looks done but the headlamp looks fine) and possibly a hood if that cant be straightened. I wouldn't be surprised if you could get the insurance money and get a 97 front & sides, coilovers & some wheels. after fixing the damage. Just don't settle for a write off. If they say it will cost 12k for example in dam and they estimate the car worth 7k for example. you can get that fixed for about 2k. You buy the parts and go to the body shop. Plus 1k for wheels and 1k for coilovers.

Hope you come out on top bro.

I would say the other car t-boned the front wheel. I was stopped at a light and about to make a left. It turned red so I had to turn. I guess the guy was trying to beat the yellow and just hit me at full speed. This will be a he said, he said case.

While limping the car home, the steering wheel had to be at 180 degrees in order for the car to go straight. It wobbled pretty bad as well. In addition my ABS light came on and my fan shroud was destroyed. Haven't really had the chance to look into it more. I'll see what happens when the adjuster comes in the next few days.

Thanks for all the comments and wishes guys.

Fortunately I was the only one in the car. All I have is a slight headache, but I'm ok.
