My '99 Blk/Blk SC300 - 4 Month Update
So I picked up a 1999 Black on Black SC300 with 79K miles in mid-April.
This is what it looked like the day I drove it home:
After a thorough interior and exterior detail (clay bar, 3M Perfect-It III Swirl Mark Remover, Clearkote Vanilla Moose mixed with Red Machine Glaze, and topped with Carnuba Moose Wax). I PC'd under 1000W halogens and tried to get as much of the swirls out as possible. There are no fillers, so WYSIWYG.

In the meantime, I made an appointment for PDR, replaced the tint, ordered some wheels, other long-lead items, and all the parts for the gixxer_drew setup. The Bilsteins were on backorder, of course, so it took awhile to get everything in...
The inner lip on the sleeves were machined and the coilovers were assembled and installed.
Slammed on polished TT's.

Japanese "Bumpout" Lights arrived from Carson Lexus (Steve Ganz is the man. Period.)
Got bored waiting for my wheels so I threw a coat of 1Z on my lugnuts
Front wheels came in from Japan!!! 19-inch SSR Professor SP-1 in Super Black Coat.
After a wash... Yes, the lugnuts bead water!!!

YeA 2jZ - thanks! No, 1Z is a sealant (http://www.1z-usa.com/). I should have specified that I used the Glanz Wax - excellent durability.
rvaquino - they're 19x9.0 +31 HP with 245/35R19 and 19x10.0 +37 SL with 275/30R19 S.drives. When I first put the wheels on, the front fenders were sitting on the tires, so I had to raise it ~9/16ths. It still rubs on the big big dips.
turbodremz - no, they're Kics Project Neo Chro R40's.
xknowonex - thanks man, you always take awesome pictures!!!
One HoT - thanks man, I love your car - suuuper clean. Yessir, the Supra is the Sunday car.
OneJay - thanks - 202 for life!!!
Black Fire - yeah yeah, not sure I wanna mess with the front fenders though.
One_jZ_SC3 - not sure yet. I'm planning on throwing Supra or LS brakes, so I'll need some wheels that'll clear those.
tularisgp - yeah, it's a Moroso adjuster. I really prefer the solid wrench that came with my HKS coils. I don't like how this one pivots, it feels kinda clumsy when working with it. I'd say the only advantage is if you are tight on room, you'd be able to turn the perch with the wrench in the 'bent' position. But usually you need good leverage to turn the perch, so I'm not sure the adjustability is really an advantage.
