Overcharged a/c ?
I just got one of the recharging kits and followed direction and my card showed pressure of 150. Is there something wrong with my a/c or somone had overcharged it? It shows 150 when car is off also.
The kit thing shows that 150psi is in the RED ZONE... but when they fill it at a shop its over 150psi...
I dont get it... I have 135psi right now and its fine.

Refrigerant Capacity 1.65 lbs.
Refrigerant Type R-134a
Total Refrigerant Oil Amount 4.8 oz.
Refrigerant Oil Type ND Oil 8 [1]
[1] Or Equivalent
Pressures I would have to check on ,but 150 i think it way to much if that is for the low side.

When I had my SC, if we overcharged the system, the Compressor would turn on, shut off, turn on shut off. Once we drained it a little to the normal pressure, it ran as it should.

How I can test my a/c system. I tested voltage at relay and there is zero voltage sometimes goes up to 0.4v. How I can test my a/c system to see why the compressor does not come on at all.
I have an AC compressor next to me that does the same thing. It spins by hand, but when I turn on the AC, the light blinks and makes no cold air.
^^^ Yeah thats sounds more of the normal range. Your compressor could have some resistance in it or metal particles causing it to stop. You can also check your clutch on the compressor if you have the right tools. If the clutch is cracked it won't engauge. If you have to much as mentioned before it will surge on and off. If the amount is just right it should stay on. If there is dye in the can you can check the a/c lines with a uv light/black light and you should find the leak.
