when i bought my sc300 the guy said he had put a new/rebuilt transmission..
well how can i tell if he really rebuilt/bought another transmission?
on my mileage counter is shows 200,000... i dont know how i can double
check if hes telling the truth or not? he didnt show any papers to prove it neither

i have a sc300 93

 

Papers would be the only thing I could think of that could really verify i the work was done for sure.

Basically, if there are no papers. I would assume he is not telling the truth.

 

if he has no papers, ask him who/where he got the trans from and call them up..they should have some information under his name or for the car..
