Wow, this is honeslty my fav Audio mod done yet...

it looks amazing, OEM style which is the only reason i havent touched mine yet. I couldnt find anything with out that Retarded flashy's "look at me" face plate.

Looks amazing dude, who cares if its froma mustang, its in the lex now and it looks like it should belong there.

I already have a head unit. I'm more interested in the steering wheel.

thats the problem its clarion. I dont see how thats much of an improvement from oem toyota denso. If i was spending the money (which i did btw) on a new headunit, i would get something with good sound quality. Alpine or bust IMO.

if you want oem style get an alpine double din touch screen hu with a metra dash kit. It'll make your interior look atleast 2gs new.

I think this is a GREAT option! 6-CD in the dash, and it updates the looks some too.
The fact that it can be had cheap is a plus.
Your right about all those flashy face plates out there not flowing with the rest of the dash- If I had a stock dash I'd really think about getting this.. 2nd option would be 7" monitor w/Metra.

You don't see much improvement over CASSETTE???? Clarion isn't a bad brand...not great but not bad.

Your idea for Alpine is dead on. But I really wanted an updated OEM look. The aftermarkets were sooo in-your-face flashy.

Our OEM cassette units were just fantastic. All you need is a brood of kids and you can play your Barney/Disney cassettes while you sing along in traffic.
