O man that happen to me 2. my sister was in the passenger side when i roll the the window the door pop open and i was all tripping on her like BI tc h YOU CRAZY!!!! lol but when i open the door panel it was the door henge rod came out and the window is pushing it down

your should write a D.I.Y on this. im very interested in this mod. perhaps wireing it with the key remote.

At first I was like, "Thats phat!" 'cus I thought it was an Auto Door.
Now Im thinkin' "Hmm... This problem might in turn be useful."
Is there a way someone can DIY an Auto Door-Popper this way?
That'd be more luxurious, & definitely make the car more contemporary,
along with its timeless looks.

Yeah, keep up the good work & you will def need a new latch. I let a kid at work straighten mine & guess what? He broke it! You can get the outer handle clip at the dealer(Lex or Toyota same for both) shouldn't be more than 3 bucks. Good luck with your latch!
