trunk doesn't open
 

Still new to the car its a 97...anyhow the trunk doesn't want to open up. is there another way to get around it? thanks

It doesn't want to open how? Just in general?

I know my key doesn't like to fit into the trunk keyhole sometimes. It usually helps if I wiggle it a lot and pull it out just a tiny bit.

Other than that, are you using the master key? Is the lock on the dash pushed in?

Did you kick the key lock button? Try sticking your key in there and turning it and try it out.

Do you mean the remote button near the driver left knee does not open the trunk ? There's a key lock next to the remote button near the steering colume. Unlock it with key, then try it.

ohh geebus! tried that with a regular key and didnt work. lucky there was a spare in the booklet. anyhow, that key worked. thanks

yeah try to unlock the valet lock... aka the key hole by the trunk popper!
