Default Climate control STILL stuck at 75 PLEASE help

YES I SEARCHED like crazy. I have a '94 SC300. At first my climate control was stuck at 75 degres, no matter how much I turned the **** around te temp wouldnt move. So I went ahead and baught a new **** mechanism, now I can change the temp from cold to 75, it STILL wont go past 75 degrees.

What do you guys think the problem is now? It must be the main climate control unit right? What else could it be? With the new **** I have all functions except to go pasty 75 degrees. And yes its absolutly freezing in NJ!thanks

I was going to suggest a new **** assembly... But since you did that, the chances of it being bad as well are pretty slim. Climate control would be next. Do you have anyones you can test?

most likely the wiring. Mine did that. I checked the connections, and a wire was loose on the pigtail to the ****.

Maybe you have a bad CC unit? Try looking around for a USED unit for a reasonable price in the classifieds

Okay everyone. I have found the problem. I traced every wire in that harness, everything worked. I replaced my CC unit, that didn't fix it. I never suspected the **** because, it's a rheostat..its just a switch with multiple points..but lo and behold that is the fix. Replace your **** assembly!
