please help me if you can wifes 92 sc400 was running pwerfect after new timomg belt it ran great for 2 weeks then my wife went started up other morning and it ran like it was missing someone told her her car was on fire underneath and it was the cat glowing .i thought i had a stopped up cat but had it checked out ws fine . i found out my rwear drivers sdie spark plug wire was bad so i replaced all the wires and plugs figured it was going to fix it put eberything back topgether and still running on less than 8 cylinders . i then took it all back apart and and checked the other wires for problems ,found out all the wires on the drivers side of distributer pack are not firing im running on 4 cly and the check engine and trac light is on too please help ? tom

Get the bad one replaced ASAP and DO NOT RUN THE CAR with the bad coil still on. The reason why your cats are glowing red hot is because the unburnt air/fuel mix on the misfiriing cylinders is getting into the already hot converter and igniting in there. This could possibly damage your cats if you keep running with the bad coil and also could hurt the O2 sensors.
