Couldn't open the door from the inside?
 

This is a strange thing that happened... When I tried opening the drivers door from the inside, it wouldn't open. I locked/unlocked the door again and it still wouldn't open. I rolled the windows down, the door couldn't open from the outside. I pounded it a little, nothing. I opened the Passenger side door to get out, but I tried one more time to open the Drivers side door and magically - it opens! WTF?!

Your cable could be worn out on the inside causing that issue. If it did it at the max pull on the handle that could be the issue. Also the lock mechanism where your door locks on the bar could be worn out. Best thing to do is take the door apart and check the cables inside and the box to see for wear or broken parts.
