Default rear lights

Yes, i did. Actually the problem was the light bulb it self, it needs to be replace but only 1 light went out, the other one is still working, haven't replace it yet still dont know wether i should replace both of them or just one cause i'm afraid that the light that i will be replacing will be brighter then the old ones and the old one my go out soon.. does anyone the model No. for the rear mirror brake lights for a 1991 toyota soarer? and how many watts, can the wattage go higher? or will it get hot and burn everything around it.
