Just a quick question. How many bolts are on the sc400 lip, and are they all right under the lip? Ive seen the diagram, but i just wanna make sure. Im buying a neighbors sc400 lip and i just wanna take the lip off without damaging anything or taking the bumper off. Thanks in advance.

 

This is for a 92 SC400 now so...There are a total of 6 aluminum strips 3 are permanently attached with rivets to the lip the other 3 are used to secure to those when attaching. When I changed mine I believe there are a total of 12-14 nuts that attach the lip to the front bumper you will have to remove a bunch of the under cladding to get them off as they are tough to get off without doing so but you do not have to remove the bumper.

 

soarer13oy, if you take his, his lower part of the bumper is going to look funny with holes (I believe 3-4) on each side of the lower lip of the bumper. These aluminum strips goes directly in the bumper so im not sure he he's going to want that. but either way, good luck.
