I bought a 98 rear SC bumper and I was soo excited and axiously waiting for it to arrive. Today after I got the bumper, I am so disappointed, looking at how they package the bumper, it was not in a box and they FOLDED the bumper .

They folded the bumper --> in result there is crack on either side of the bumper

They should have told me if they want more money for shipping and i would gladly work on the deal.

What would you think I should do?

 

ask for your money back, and buy from a reputable source like me.

that's stupidity there...send it back and ask for your money back + reimbursement for shipping. did you pay for shipping insurance/was there any?

 

It was from ebay, I did pay for the shipping, but he did not ask for more $ if he need it. I also bought the lower extension, door moulding which i think is ok. But the rear bumper is trashed. I am hesitant to open the packaging since seperating the packaging UPS would deemed the whole package accepted. I would get money back just for the rear bumper?

Do not open that packaging. Return it ASAP for full refund plus shipping, and certainly let them know that's not the way to do it.

ok, I did not open the packaging,
the lower quarter extensions seemed to be ok.
the both door moulding unknown conditions
rear bumper is in unrepairable condition
rear bumper foam is falling apart

 

You can file complaint through paypal, it's easy. I've done it before when I paid for an item I never received and I got my money back in full. They're very helpful in these circumstances. Sorry to hear about your bad luck man.

 

Get a hold of the company and file a complaint. This is very unacceptable.

 

I complaint through paypal to get the reimbursement for the rear bumper, rear bumper foam, and the door moulding. I contact UPS to get the item inspected and ship back if necessary (I can't use them anyway)

I only get an answering machines all day from UPS, I am surprized that UPS allow shipping with no box.

they tried to go cheap on you ... they could have put some cardboard in there at least ...
