Chopping the top off a Sc400? Has it been done.
I was wondering if anybody has seen any Sc's that have been coverted. Are there any shops on the east coast who could cut the roof on my Sc400 and make it a convertable. I have a garage so it would be in when it rains. My car has low miles so i would want a quality shop do the mod.

It could have been that one tunner show on MTV where 2 shops got sc's and made them show cars. I just don't know the name of it.

Probably one of the dumbest things you can do to an SC. Structural integrity is shot, the motors always go bad if it is motorized, the fabric fades/rips/tears, and it ends up being just hassle to mess with even if its pop top. On top of all this you obviously don't do your own work so whenever something breaks there is one shop that really knows whats going on. Hope they are still around.....If you really want a drop top, just buy one.
