Default $1,400 Shopping Spree

Well this is my first thread.. excited to hear what some of you have to say

So my cars front end got swiped while parked in the parkinglot.. long story short I've got $1400 to spend..

Heres a pic of the car currently

[OFF TOPIC]I picked up a set of supra tt wheels for $200.. poorly sandblasted but i went ahead and tried cleaning it up and repainted them. They look alright despite the scratches and stuff underneath, ordered a set of yokohama s. drives and those should be here this weekend. Also have BFI (comes from under the headlight instead) and removed one muffler.. probably going to throw some tips on there to replace the mufflers.
[/OFF TOPIC]

Anyway, I am most likely going to go with a 97 front end, found the bumper for $350 shipped -- paint another $200? Then the fogs.. maybe $300 and grille $80, 97 bumper support $50.

At roughly $980 and I've got $400 to spend.. where should I go now

EDIT: Also considering HID's

Paint the front bumper first then see how much you have left. Get some springs after you paint the bumper!

id get the 92-96 wald kit IMO.. front bumper, sides, and rear bumper for $1000 + shipping

reasoning: not many people run this kit, you have to replace the front bumper anyway, you dont need new fogs, and you get the updated look with 97+ grille.

Make sure the maintenance is 100% up to date before you do any modding.

97 front end without doing the rest if the panels(sides and rear) is a waste and looks a bit goofy. it doesnt flow. the front is a lot lower. for that money make sure the car is mechanically sound and then do some suspension work.

i say go with gated shifter and 3 spoke wheel conversion and upgrade the tail lights just a few small changes that make a big difference... GL!

I like that Wald kit. Is there anyone around with experience of this kit?

Might have to see if I can track a kit down here in New Zealand.

Matt.
